  • Fascicle Contemporary hosts pluralities, diverse artistic voices, where all are welcome and heard, in open chorus.

It champions collaborative discursive dialogues between transnational artists, curators and the public. Fascicle Contemporary choreographs curatorial encounters, online and in situ, as a local-global nomadic site. Its public-facing curating and exhibition-making transcends boundaries, place, disciplines and medium.

Fascicle Contemporary embraces cultural and artistic intermingling, innovative interdisciplinary practices, intermedia’s expanded field - performance, filmic media, sound, installation, painting, sculpture, drawing, as well as spoken and written expression. In so doing, Fascicle Contemporary facilitates participatory public engagement, through interactive encounters and inclusive programming, informed by a performative curatorial approach.

Fascicle, like art, embodies manifold meaning - a choral round, serialized published instalments, curatorial restaging, as well as human and non-human’s vein-like, fibrous tissues and forms. Fascicle connotes embodied art practices, orchestrated presentation, performance, the body, choreographed movement, a rhizomatic interconnectivity of all life – equality and growth.
